What is a good IQ score?
A score of 100 is exactly average and sits at the 50th percentile by design. Scores from 90 to 110 count as “average” and cover about half the population. Above 120 is usually called “superior,” and above 130 puts you in the top 2%, classified as “very superior” or “gifted.” Whether a score is good depends on context. 115 is high for most purposes but ordinary at a competitive university.
